July is Carnival time. There has been a Carnival held in Ninfield for many years probably since the Silver Jubilee of George V in 1935.
It has always been well supported by the villagers and attracts a large crowd. An all day festival of fun and games. Floats with displays of amazingly varied themes are paraded up the 'back road' and back along the 'front road' to the large recreation field in the centre of the village. There are shows and music. Stalls of craftwork. Food, and not forgetting the beer tent.
